have the rights as people that are free. The reason is because they have violated the law. Human rights have a specific purpose and are essential to the prisoner’s rights that need to be considered or honored. The effect of the rights on the individual inmates is because the rights have always been disputed. A lot of people think that theirs can be maintained to certain priviledges. The U.S. made decisions on the number of rights that the inmate can’t do like move around without handcuffs or chains or have their own time when they want to. These rights are for the free people who have not committed a crime. Also, prisons have rights for medical treatment like they are mistreated and have the right to eat.
