5 December 2011 Thanksgiving Extra Credit Every year my grandparents and I (I have a separate Thanksgiving with my parents) go to my cousins’ house for Thanksgiving (on black friday). We go there every year because my aunt and uncle have made it tradition to invite their extended family (my aunt’s side, related by marriage) from all over Eastern Massachusetts (and Ohio) to celebrate. There are normally around sixty people and every year the children seem to multiple like bunnies. They are all of my aunt’s relatives who I am not close with; I only know my cousins, aunt and uncle who are the hosts, and my grandparents who I came with. So it would make sense for everyone to come here because they are all either nieces, nephews, or siblings of my aunt. My grandparents and uncle are the only people who represent my father’s side of the family, and my mother’s side is not represented at all because they are not closed and/or live far away.
