Example: To test for ESP a person in one room concentrates on one of 5 symbols. A
person in another room writes down the symbol which was perceived. If this was done 7
times, what is the probability that a person with no ESP gets exactly 3 correct out of the
7 attempts?
Example: A company samples 400 bills ready for mailing. They find that 24 of them
contain at least one error. Find a point estimate and a 90% confidence interval for the
proportion of bills containing at least one error.
