Dean Search Dr. Washington International Business 2 March 2011 Blood Diamonds Documentary Diamonds are symbol of love and are extremely popular among many cultures in today’s world. However, these people’s adoration of diamonds also comes with unawareness of how the majority of them are obtained. In fact, most people do not know nor do they care where the diamonds originated. It is particularly frightening to know the facts about how blood diamonds are acquired. In the documentary Diamonds of War: Africa’s Blood Diamonds, Dominic Cunningham-Reid travels to multiple countries in search for answers concerning Africa’s blood diamonds. In almost every circumstance Cunningham-Reid finds himself in the middle of violence. The conditions were so bad that his cameraman was forced to wear a hidden camera for the sake of their well-being. The bulk of the documentary took place in Sierra Leone and Reid attempted to show a day in the life of the people of Sierra Leone.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
