WEEK THREE CHECK POINT 2 Week Three Check Point One factor may be people who carry insurance through their job. Most places require the person to be full time employees. So if the person goes from full time to part time they will no longer have coverage. Also coverage may end if the person gets laid off, quits or gets fired, or goes on disability. The steps you need to take when insurance does not cover a planned service is first to discuss it with the patient. They need to be informed that the insurance does not pay for that service and they will be responsible for the bill. Some insurance companies require the doctor to use a certain form that tells the patient about the uncovered services. Then then patient

One example maybe say a person just switched from full time to part time at their job, so they have lost their insurance through their job. Then a few weeks later they have to lets say have surgery since they no longer have the coverage they will be responsible for the bill. Another example is when the person is laid off from their job; the same would happen for them. So when they go to get their surgery they will have to sign a financial agreement form saying they know that they are no longer covered and they will be responsible for the full bill....
