3. Negotiation skills – Culture of American negotiation 3.1 How to negotiate with America well a. Preparations - Good language : the language must be clear and exact to avoid the misunderstandings between two sides and to make sure negotiation in right direction. -Clothes : should always be clean, ironed, and neatly worn. Business wear of America is fairly standard, both men and women in business wear suits ( dark,dark gray or brown is usually acceptable at business meetings, for working in company, for meeting clients ). Shoes are well maintained and shined. Women wear nylon stockings of appropriate color for the season. Men wear neckties, and many women wear some kind of neatly tied scarf with a suit. -Knowledge: American doesn’t appreciate degree but the our knowledges of market, their product and company. That will impress them and make American respect and want to make business with us. -Plan and objective: preparing a perfect plan and determining objective to save negotiation time and time
