3 Research Strategy Abstract What happens to our children when they reach the teenage years? Communication gaps, expectation differences, and everything that we instilled in them to this point no longer makes any sense to them. As parents, we are at a loss for this complete change of attitude. Is it a sign of the times, are we not up to speed with today’s changes, or is it that our children are facing extreme peer pressure? We will gather expert advice as well as personal perspectives, and even look for some divine intervention. We will evaluate all the information and look to validate the cause. Can we gather all this information, analyze it, and put it in to some type of perspective? We will attempt to find a solution to this ever-growing problem with teenagers today.

4 Understanding Our Teenagers Life is a great deal, attending school, receiving an education, and finding that special person to start the next phase of life. We decide we want to have children, so we discuss how many, and if we will be able to provide for them. We think back to our own childhood experiences, good or bad, and decide that not only will we have a child or two but also provide a better life than we experienced.
