Food Intake-3 Day 2 Abstract The human body is a very complicated and detailed structure. Every person is different and what may be acceptable to one person could have adverse affects on another. Proper nutrition is important for every person’s development and health. A well balanced diet will provide all the necessary macronutrients that the body needs to function properly, grow and avoid health risks. We will discuss my three day intake of proteins, carbohydrates and fat and how the percentages measure up against the DRI recommendations. Introduction As I continue working on my diet and exercise plan, I find myself eating less and exercising more. I have managed to keep the twenty five pounds that I lost two years ago off, but I cannot seem to drop those last ten pounds to reach my goal. I am not restricting myself of the foods I enjoy, but I am eating less. I try to eat healthy, but unfortunately some of the foods are not always the most nutritious. Most of the foods that I eat have the essential proteins, carbohydrates and lipids but they also have extra fats that are counterproductive and unhealthy. Proteins, Carbohydrates and Lipids I am getting my protein intake from meats, poultry, some vegetables and eggs. My carbohydrate intake comes from fruit, vegetables, rice, salad and bread.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
