CLIMATE CHANGE REGULATIONS 2 Climate Change Regulation “Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions or the cause of variances of events around the world” (Raven & Berg, 2010). We will discuss different viewpoints on climate change as well as how government regulations of climate change affect the economy, people, and the environment. Various Viewpoints on Climate Change There are many different viewpoints on climate change from the scientific to very extreme environmentalist viewpoints. Although scientists have not been doing research for very long, the data that has been collected is extremely viable and has opened people’s eyes to the harm we are creating for our environment. Many of the unusual weather patterns that we once dismissed as normal; we are now taking steps to try to correct mankind’s bad habits. The
