Chapter 13 Section 3 - Plant Responses to the Environment What happens when you get really cold? Do your teeth chatter?  Or do you shiver? Anything that causes a reaction in your body is a stimulus. But would a plant respond to a stimulus? Plants do respond to stimuli. They respond to light, gravity, and changing seasons.
