Heart diseases are the highest killers in the world ranging from heart attack to total stoppage of the heart. With the demand of artificial heart, the bioengineers have developed a way that is efficient and effective to make an artificial heart. The fluid mechanics behind this process is the most important process for making artificial heart so the main integral part, to the understanding of how an artificial heart works. The basics of the working of an artificial heart lie on two concepts equation of continuity and Bernoulli’s equation. The equation of continuity that states v 1 A 1 =v 2 A 2 helps to understand the speed with which blood flows through the heart and the Bernoulli’s equation that states P 1 +1/2pv 1 2 = P 2 +1/2pv 2 2 .
