Jinal Patel Professor Fatemi Western Civilization October 12, 2011 History of Sex (Continued) The Video starts with mentioning countries in the East that developed harmony in marriage. These countries were China, Japan, and India. the Chinese compared their sex life to clouds and rain. They considered it as beautiful and peaceful as clouds and rain. The Chinese came up with three Philosophies, Taoism, Confucianism, and Buddhism. Taoism is focused more on compassion, and nature. Confucianism is focused on education and morals. They also focused on guiding behavior in sex. Some of their beliefs included that a man shouldn't ejaculate. instead, he should hold it off for as long as it can to improve their health. Buddhism is focused on transcending enlightenment after death. Having sex once meant that one becomes more stronger; twice meant that one's vision improved; thrice meant that one over comes all their diseases; and ten meant you were atomically went to Heaven.
