Forget the traditional forms of preservation. If you want a good looking corpse after more than 20,000 years, get yourself buried in a slab of Siberian permafrost. It worked for the woolly mammoth discovered in Siberia. This massive beast had barely a hair out of place. This giant cousin of today’s elephants has ivory tusks big enough to cradle a couch, molars bigger than bread boxes, and a smelly coat. The dig to actually free the mammoth, estimated to be 47 years old when he died, began in 1998. For the first time ever, ground- penetrating radar was used
