SPCED 375 Notes November 15, 2011 Case Study We will use the writing samples provided by the Burris teachers in our case studies. We need a total of three samples; the Kaufman writing may be used as one. Remember, the case studies are due next Tuesday! There is a guidance document online that shows how to assess the informal writing samples We need to rewrite the KeyMath section as well as finish our reports for next Tuesday Final Case Study Report Guidelines Always use third person Single space to condense the length--Font needs to be Times New Roman 12 pt. Use past tense only Don’t dwell on the negatives; the reports need to be positive because parents can and do read these kinds of reports! Do not put language report information in Section 6; it only goes in Section 7 Underline, bold, or italicize headings so that they stand out and are easy to locate Always use complete sentences PROOFREAD, PROOFREAD, PROOFREAD! Make sure pronouns agree
