CSC 302-05 Homework 6, Part I 1 . Like any other technology the Electronic Voting system could increase the efficiency and accuracy of any Voting poll, however many argue about the technological dangers that these computer based voting systems may rise. In my opinion, I would agree with the latter as elections are very important for any governing committee and such machines shouldn’t play any role that would create any hideous threat to the results of an election. To begin with, I certainly think that Electronic Voting systems such as DRE or Optical Voting Scan Systems can increase the efficiency level however it would facilitate electronic fraud. Moreover Electronic Machines can lead to concerns such as the integrity of the people who operate these machines and devices. From my research I would like to state some reasons as followed as how these machines are not suitable for deciding the government, who run the nation a. Electronic Machines can have operation failures anytime and anywhere. b.
