The Federalist Papers were a set of papers written by Madison, Jay and Hamilton in 1787 to argue the case for the Constitution. All of the writers of the papers were Federalists and they all had the same plan of a unified government. In these, it was promising the people the Bill of Rights, which protected the individual rights of the people.
2. The Representation Controversy was what happened when the smaller states became concerned about not being heard against the bigger states’ votes. The smaller states pushed for an equal representation of states so that all the opinions and votes would be equal. The smaller side included Connecticut, Delaware and Georgia and the larger side included New York, Massachusetts, and Virginia. This whole controversy was taken care of through the creation of the Connecticut Compromise, which said that each state would have the same number of votes and that their legislature would have proportional representation.
