Name:
MAC 1114 Trigonometry 2691
Exam Two April 10, 2008
1. You may begin this exam as soon as you receive it, but first make sure there are 6
pages with problems on them.
2. The exam is closed book and closed notes. You may use the back of the exam if you
need more paper. You may use a scientific calculator only to calculate the approximate
value of an expression. If you do, give an exact answer first (this is almost always
required!), and do as much simplification as possible.
No graphing calculator will
be allowed on this exam.
3. Show all your work. Failure to do so, even with a correct answer,
will
result in a loss
of points. Sentences written in english are often good for showing work. If you are not
sure, ask.
4. Put a
Box
around your answers. You are only allowed one attempt at each problem,
if you make more than one attempt clearly indicate the one you want graded.
5. If you finish early, you can leave. You are advised to check your work first. Check for
both clarity and correctness.
6. Sign the following pledge. Failure to do so will result in a loss of points.
