MAC 1114: Trigonometry Text : Precalculus with Limits (2nd edition) Larson Course content: All of chapters 4 and 5, 6.1 and 6.2 Instructor: Hannah Sanchez [email protected] LIT 405 Office Hours: TBA Homework : There will be 12 homework assignments worth 7 points each. Homework will be graded on completion and correctness. Exams : Three exams and a final will be given, each worth 70 points. Grading : Exams and the best 10 homework grades will be weighted equally. Grades will be assigned as follows: A 90% C + 73% A- 86 : 5% C 70% B + 83% D + 63% B 80% D 60% B- 76 : 5% After graded work is returned, a student had one week to discuss the assigned grade. Incomplete Grades : From the Undergraduate Catalog "An incomplete grade may be assigned at the discretion of the instructor as an interim grade for a course in which the student has completed a major portion of the course with a passing grade, been unable to complete course requirements before the end of the term because of extenuating circumstances, and obtained agreement from the instructor and arranged for resolution of the incomplete grade. Instructors are not required to assign incomplete grades." 1
