H. Math- ews, Kurtis D. Fink (required) Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in MAS 3114 and in MAS 4105. Knowledge of at least one programming lan- guage. In class we will use Matlab or Maple. Course Description: Topics that will be covered in class are: Root Finding Interpolation and Polynomial Approximation Numerical Differentiation Numerical Integration Numerical Differential Equations Least Squares Approximations Course Home page on e-Learning: The present and all future course information and course materials (including homework problems and projects) will be posted on the course home page on E-Learning.
