6 Working as a bench, go back to the specimens you observed in the hierarchy demonstration. Move them around until you think you have groups of organisms that relate more closely to one another than to anything else. You should strive for 4 to 5 groups of organisms when your sorting is finished. What specimens did you put in each group? List the characters (=traits) you used to define each of your groups Is there any evidence of convergent evolution in your classification? Is there any evidence of divergent evolution in your classification? Do groups from other benches agree with your classification? Why/why not?
