TREY • As it was a Musharraf regime so all work done by him ,his first act was . He was asked by Bush (president of US at that time ) to join WAR ON TERROR . . Purpose was to defeat the Afghan Taliban in neighboring country . So Musharraf did many work for them as a result America supported well both in economically and in defense but afterward s PAK ISTAN has to bear many problems ……. ! 4
TREY Why these years or Pakistan has much importance? • On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. AL-QUAIDA confess his responsibility. • Almost 3,000 people were killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which triggered major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism. It was a great loss , so G.W BUSH passed a resolution to attack as a revenge.
