Assignment 4 For this assignment, a group including myself is asked to determine the most effective security plan for the college campus. We are presented with 3 options: the installation of security cameras at the entrances of all campus buildings and dorms, metal detectors at the entrances of all campus buildings and dorms, and randomly placed security cameras. It is important to note that we are a secondary group, to task-oriented group, since we are focusing on doing work that is solving a problem. While it may seem like a simple decision-making process, the principles of decision-making and how we interact to accomplish our goals will all effect the group’s decision. The first thing I would want to do is establish general norms and role norms to become organized. General norms are anything that applies to everyone in the group, like being on time to the meeting. Role Norms are the behavior for specific roles, like what the group leader should
