Site Selection 1. Choose the best / most suitable Site to address the project objective (Example: A sewage treatment plant site should be located at the lowest spot as far as possible to save pumping costs) 2. The Site must be large enough to accommodate all functions and facilities. (Maneuvering inside the Site and space for future possible extension must be considered) 3. There should be the least ground problem 4. The location should be the best / most suitable for the ultimate users (Example: If the treated effluent from the proposed sewage treatment will be discharged to sea, the plant should be located to the seafront as far as possible to save associated construction costs and land use) 5.
