This eventually drives Meghan to become an extreme two-sided character. Eventually the fights climax, and Meghan gets out of the destructive marriage and the play ends as previously described. This part of our play features a happy ending that evolved from a conflict that encouraged empathy from the audience. Our target audience was college students who are beginning to enter potentially serious relationships. We could have also showed a tragedy that ended badly for the female character that entered into a bad relationship for the wrong reasons. Having our play end sadly may have had an even more profound effect on our audience and driven them away from relationships that are based on things like money....
