Extra Credit Research Opportunity (2 points) Please complete by 12/12/11 at 5:00 p.m. The study you will be participating in is designed to  investigate how aspects of the performance appraisal  process influence perceptions of fairness. In the  experiment you will (a) read a vignette describing a  performance appraisal meeting at a retail store, (b)  envision that you are the employee having the discussion  with your manager, and (c) answer a questionnaire in the  roll of the employee followed by three brief  questionnaires. Researchers at Baruch College will use  the results of this study for research purposes. The entire  study will take about 30 minutes (half an hour).
