INTRODUCTION TO PHOTOGRAPHY 21: 080: 261 PAGE 1 of 3 PROJECT 6: FROZEN ACTION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Work in groups of at least two people. This is impossible to do by one person alone successfully. 2. Create a still life arrangement of at least 15 different things that are arranged on TOP OF EACH OTHER IN A PILE. 3. These things can be any object whatsoever that you can find around Bradley Hall. Examples: pencils, pens, pieces of paper, pieces of torn paper, pieces of folded paper, pieces of crumpled paper, shoes, scarves, paper clips, pens, magic markers, notebooks, books, and so on.

6_FROZEN ACTION PAGE 2 of 3 4. Make sure that the BACKGROUND you choose for the pile of objects is plain and simple. It can be a color or white, but it should not distract from your ability to see the pile of objects. If possible, it should CONTRAST with your objects. 5. Find at least 5 additional objects that you can use to throw or drop on top of the still life. These objects must be heavy enough that they would crush or unbalance the pile of objects in the process of hitting them as they fall. 6. Try to be CREATIVE IN YOUR CHOICE OF OBJECTS.
