TA’s, etc PHYS276, S09 Chapter 1 2 Please let me know if you did not receive an email from me last night (after class). TA’s: Rian You ( yrian@umd.edu ) and Jiehang Zhang ( jhzhang@umd.edu ) Undergraduate grader is being arranged. However, the grader is only 10 hrs/ week (=12min/student/week). Rian and Jiehang have no time for grading at all, due to their large number of “contact hours” for this and other courses. Labs: will be handled as follows. During the lab, you will carefully and neatly write your data on a sheet of paper. You will also write the answers to any questions in the lab on a sheet of paper. Before you leave the lab, you will show these sheets to your TA. (S)he will then grade as follows: 10: made honest attempt to do all work, 5: didn’t do work, 0: did not attend lab. The TA will not have time to check the answers for correctness, however I encourage you to discuss your answers with your TA during the course of the lab, for your own education. Homework: Due to the reduction in grader help, only 2 problems will be graded per week. Updated syllabus has been uploaded to the web site.
