Yufei Ye 1. IKEA, was established by Kamprad with the idea of providing affordable items to different customers, has emerged as the leader in furniture worldwide in 1990s. Kamprad’s philosophy and beliefs have truly guided IKEA through variety of challenges, which included the environmental and social problems. By following the principle of creating a better everyday life for the many people, IKEA managed to increase its profit level while maintaining its goodwill. 2. Child-labor has been widely applied in some of IKEA’s suppliers, while IKEA partnered with a third-party organization on monitor its suppliers in employing Children, a different approach seems to be needed due to an aggressive action toward IKEA by a German documentary maker. 3.
