BP Confidential and Proprietary 4 Safety Moment: BP Driving Standard The vehicle is fit for purpose & has been maintained in safe working order, with seatbelts installed and functional Safety helmets are worn by rider and passengers of motorcycles, quads, snowmobiles & similar types of vehicles The number of passengers does not exceed manufacturer’s specification for the vehicle Loads are secure & do not exceed manufacturer’s specification and legal limits for the vehicle Drivers are appropriately assessed,licensed, trained & medically fit to operate the vehicle Drivers are appropriately rested and alert Drivers do not use a mobile phone or other two-way communication device while operating the vehicle In specific high risk countries risks of the journey have been assessed ad journey risk management plans are in place Seatbelts are worn by all occupants at all times whenever a vehicle is in motion Drivers are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance or medication that could impair their ability to drive
