Create the files inside a new sub-directory called prog5 . The files will have to be submitted at the same time by invoking a submission command similarly as described in the document ‘ Submitting homework (Assignment 3 , Appendix)’ available from the course homepage. 1. Reimplement the frame() and hcat() operations manipulating pictures to use iterators. Extend the grading program to assign and print letter grades by ranges (in addition to the percentage): A 90-100 B 80-89.99 C 70-79.99 D 60-69.99 F < 60 Add the information how many students fall into each category to the generated output.

Extend the word counting program (you can download the original program here: http://www.cct.lsu.edu/~hkaiser/fall_2011/csc1254/code/counting_words.cpp ) to produce its output sorted by occurrence count. That is, the output should group all the words that occur once, followed by those that occur twice, and so on. 4. The cross-reference program could be improved: as it stands, if a word occurs more than once on the same input line, the program will report that line multiple times. Change the code so that it detects multiple occurrences of the same line number and inserts the line number only once.
