While there are many different religions in the world today, some of the biggest arguments will come within the ranks of Christians, over belief policies or how to be a good Christian. No matter what anyone says in any argument one thing will always hold true and that is the fact that we are all forgiven by the burden that Jesus took on for every human by being sacrificed by the mercy and love of God allowing us to be made wholeagain in his image. GodGod, the creator of the universe, has existed since the beginning of time as the lord almighty and guiding hand of the world. God leads with love but a strong hand as he does not tolerate disobedience which is clearly shown in the beginning of creation with Adam and Eve. The gift of the Garden is given to them by God giving them shelter, food, and nourishment for eternity with one rule, do not eat from the fruit from the forbidden tree in the middle of the garden. The garden itself is described as stunning and can be considered a temple for God (Hiles & Smith, Wisdom in the Beginning, 2014, para. 19, as cited in DiVincenzo, 2014). The intentions of God when he gave his first children of earth the garden was simple; they could live there and never want for anything when it came to comfort and nourishment. Once Eve was 1
tricked into eating the forbidden fruit and then deceived Adam into eating it as well it caused God to show his stern hand banishing them into a world of sin never allowed to enter the garden again. Some of the characteristics that stand out to me that reflect God is that he is a loving father, but a parent of discipline, he is eternal life, almighty, all knowing and all powerful. During creation God made the world in perfect harmony proving his power but than instead of creating us as lesser beings he took the opportunity to show love to his children by creating us in his image. This gives him the opportunity to walk among us as he would blend in the midst of us without our knowledge.HumanityHuman nature is essential the description of our lives as humans. As a Christian my worldview consists of the thought process that we are all children of God as we were each created in his image. The decision God made in creating each and every one of us in his image was to guide us in the lifestyle and purpose he wanted us to live enjoying his creations living life’s full of joy and happiness praising him while we prepare to one day join him in heaven.
