Lindsey Faucher KNH 245 Sec. C April 18, 2011 Field Reflection While creating this e-text, I had to consider the constructivism beliefs to make sure that mine matched up accordingly. My e-text supported the constructivist theory because it was very learner-centered. Students are able to follow along and listen as I read while looking at the appropriately selected pictures. My e-text provides students with a variety of ways the feet are used, which not only shows the importance of physical activity in one’s life, but also models examples of activities children can do every day. Through this e-text, students should be able to develop their own ideas about this particular part of the human body, the feet, and use their prior knowledge about feet and physical activity. They are then able to build upon this prior knowledge and form their own understanding. The e-text is very relevant to the everyday occurrences of students today. Every child learns (in some way) about health and the importance of staying fit and active in order to maintain a full life. This presentation is a great way to remind students of all of the potential activities they could be doing both at home and at school,
