Lindsey Faucher KNH 281 LEARNING LOG IMPORTANT OBSERVATIONS HOW I FEEL ABOUT OBSERVED EVENT -Children have slightly larger heads (bigger in proportion to their body size) -children still need to get calcium in order to allow the rest of their bones to form and grow as they get older -This makes sense because this factor was stressed in our KNH class, children are not fully developed by this early age -children are still developing and are now fully grown (as discussed in chapter 3) and have different body proportions than adults -at snack time, the teachers encouraged students to have milk, seeing as calcium is extremely important for bone development (as discussed in chapter 3) Children dance along to songs played in the classroom during music time- children love to move around -children would hop, jump, skip, and spin around while listening to the music, using locomotor skills (as discussed in chapter 4) these are some of the fundamental motor skills children learn -we practiced many of these skills in our KNH
