Lindsey Faucher KNH 245 Wellness Workshop Final Reflection Over the past eight weeks, I have learned a lot about myself and what I am capable of accomplishing when I set my mind to it. I started out this semester feeling quite care-free after a chaotic first semester, only to find that while this semester was not overwhelming school-wise, the drama occurring at my house was more than enough to make up for it. I set goals each week in the hopes that I would learn to not let my stress get the most of me. I NEVER get mad at friends, especially those who live with me, but this semester changed all of that. My house was split in two, and both sides could never reach agreements on anything. I have dealt with incredibly rude emails, horrible text messages sent by girls who are supposed to be my “sisters” in my sorority, and downright evil encounters within the house. Having a combination of sleep and quiet time and dealing with stress as our Habit of Health for the Wellness Workshop project, I was able to confront my issues with stress head-on. Setting thee goals every week allowed me to work on ways to de-stress and to relax and enjoy my last semester before student teaching and entering senior year at Miami. The best part was that I not only set these goals for myself, I followed them. I started working out right when I was at my most stressful points of the day instead of waiting until the late hours of the night. I began calling my mom and venting to her whenever I did not think I could handle being in my house
