Reference: Categorical Data Analysis by Alan Agresti Reference: Applied Linear Models, by Weisberg. Prerequisites: This course is aimed at 1st-semester graduate students in statistics. You should possess a working knowledge of basic statistical testing and estimation concepts, procedures, and terminology. Our coverage of statistical methods and tech- niques will be deeper than required for perfunctory data analysis. The goal of this class is to understand not just how the methods work, but why.
