Introduction The paper I am about to create is on how I interpret and incorporate the learned information into a comprehensive Disciple-Making-Plan (Ministry Planning Sheet). I will be focusing on the five P’s of ministry, which is passages, principles, philosophy, practices, and proof. I shall concentrate on a detailed explanation of each and the application thereof. Focusing on what I believe to be my mission moving forward upon completion of my degree, and fulfilling my part of the master plan of the Great Commission as I see it. The information referenced is a collection of lecture notes, books, and class resource materials (e-books) provided by and in part from Liberty University Rawlings School of Divinity. Provided is an overview of all the pertinent areas relevant to my spiritual growth, walk with the Holy Spirit, and how these shall affect my journey to be a disciple and maker of disciples for Christ Jesus. The paper shall be formatted appropriately, and will be written in and showing application, reflection, and bibliography, all composed within Turabian Style [ 1 ] formatting. Helping others become disciples of Christ Jesus is my responsibility as a Christian; if not, then I am a sinner of silence[ 2 ] and a disappointment to Him. I may be the only contact in regards to showing the light and love of Christ Jesus. Therefore, I need to continue praying for His spiritual guidance and strength as I move forward in His grace making disciples. What is a Disciple What is the definition of a disciple of Jesus Christ? A disciple is: o A person who is becoming spiritually mature o Cares for the lost 1 Kate L. Turabian, A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, Eighth Edition: Chicago Style for Students and Researchers (Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 2013) 2 William Fay and Linda E. Shepherd, Share Jesus Without Fear (Nashville: B&H Publishing Group, 1999) 3
o Doing life with others o Loves the poor and marginalized in Jesus’s name o Has come to understand what righteousness is and is being sanctified[ 3 ] Some have many obstacles put in front of then to prevent or hinder the very ability to disciple effectively and joyfully. The following are valid issues that I have seen within the churches I have associated. The lack of leadership in the Church, breakdown of the family, political correctness, Christians in bondage (e.g., gambling, sex, drugs), materialism/greed, Christians are living like non-Christians, moral relativism, and hostile anti-Christian environments.
