What do the songs “Garbage Dump,” “A Worker’s Point of View” and “Eggs Under a Red Flag” have in common? All three songs discuss political issues. Each of the songs has negative connotations against he government and talks about how much they disagree with communism. They think their country is no good. 2. Why does the author say that y aogun yinyue “broke down barriers?” The author says that yaogun yinyui broke down barriers because it is the Chinese rock and roll that symbolized rebellion. Also this style of music crossed different genres such as traditional music and folk songs and pop as well. 3. Why is Cui Jian considered China’s rock icon?
