This worldview focuses on subjects that can easily be applied to those who do not share the same faith such as being neighborly, trusting in each other and explaining the unseen nuances of daily life. Christianity teaches us important messages such as forgiveness and praying/assisting those who are much less fortunate than we are. While Christianity can be split off into varying factions one factor remains consistent throughout and that is the concept of salvation. Doing good deeds and keeping your faith in our lord Jesus Christ to be accepted into God’s arms in the afterlife. This essay will be a tool used to dive deeper into the factors that make up the Christian Worldview such as God, Humanity, Jesus and Restoration as well as a brief analysis on the effect Christianity has left on history as a whole. God According to Christianity God is the one eternal being who created life, the world we liveon and the ecosystem that we interact with on our daily basis. In the Christian faith there is only one God however he exists within three different forms known as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is stated in Genesis 1:1 that God created the universe in seven days. On the first
Rivera 2day God created the Earth, space, time and light. On the second day God created the atmosphere and the air that all living beings breathe. On the third day God created dry land and plants with a functioning ecosystem so that life can prosper. On the fourth day God created the sun, moon and stars that inhabit the everlasting vast of space. On the fifth day God created the ocean as well as flying and sea life to continue the spread of his influence. Lastly on the sixth day God created land animals as well as humans, however when it came to constructing humanity he created mankind in his own image. Lastly on the seventh day God finally finished his creations of everything that humans know of and take for granted. He took this final day to rest after using allhis power and Christians celebrate this day as a holy day as thanks to him for all he created. As for God’s own characteristics he is a very forgiving and loving enlightened being as well as having otherworldly powers such as omnipotence and omnipresence. “God is unchanging. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and for eternal life.” (Hiles and Smith 2014). God createdthe Garden of Eden to function as a place where he could congregate with the loyal subjects he created since he truly though humanity was good and he was proud of his work.
