Welcome to the 55th AFROTC Cadet Wing On behalf of the Cadre, Wing Staff and Cadets, we welcome  you to embark on the most important journey of your life. Along your  odyssey, you will encounter great challenges as well as great  rewards. You will make lifelong friends, and learn invaluable lessons  that you will take with you into your career.  We will not hide the truth from you: you will be challenged, and  pushed to your physical and mental limits. However, do not be  worried, we will also be your wing-men and women as you are  transformed from a civilian student into an elite officer in the world’s  most powerful Air Force. Being a Cadet, let alone an officer requires a great deal of  responsibility, maturity and personal motivation. We encourage you to  participate in all activities, and make the most of your training. Most  importantly, we encourage you to ask questions of your Cadet  leadership about ROTC and the Air Force. This booklet contains 30 items of Warrior Knowledge. This  information is mandatory to know, and  will be tested on a regular   basis . Your ability to study and recite this information will be one of  many measures of your commitment, skill and potential. It is  mandatory to have this book on your person during LLAB , as  well as certain extracurricular activities. You should carry it unless  instructed otherwise. Keep it safe, and treat it as a treasured  manuscript.  3
