Once the Cadet has received their PIN, they can enter the web page. On the Login 4 screen, the cadet will enter their SSAN. There is a statement at the bottom of the dialog box that says “If you have a PIN and need to request a password, CLICK HERE .”

The cadet will select “CLICK HERE ” and be taken to a screen that will prompt 5 them to enter their SSAN and PIN and then click on “Request Temporary Password”.

The following message will appear “ A message with your temporary password 6 has been sent to the email address on file. You should receive it within 3- 4 hours. You will need your PIN to verify your identity. The temporary password will expire in 24 hours.” A temporary password will be emailed to the cadet at the email address entered in establishing the account. This usually takes only a few minutes, but, depending on the availability of email, could take up to 3-4 hours. As indicated, the password will expire in 24 hours from the time it is emailed to the cadet. If the cadet receives this temporary password right away, they can return to the “Login Screen” and continue the process of setting up their account. If they do not receive the email right away, they may want to close the website and return at a later time.

Cadets will be required to return to the login screen and sign on with their SSAN 7 and temporary password.

The cadet will be required to create a password. The passwords must be 14 to 16 8 characters long and contain at least two special characters, 2 Upper case letters, 2 Lower case letters and 2 numbers. The cadet will then confirm the password and enter their activation PIN. When the password is successfully changed, the cadet will receive notification that the password was successfully changed and will expire in 75 days. An automatic notification will be sent to remind the cadet that their password is about to expire. The cadet will select “OK” and be routed to the home

The cadet will be given the option to “Start,” “Change Password,” “Print,” or “End 9 Session.” If the cadet is ready to start the 53, they will select “Start” to begin completing the Form 53.

The first screen is the “Graduation Data”. In the far left upper corner there is the word “Degree” underlined. If the cadet clicks on this area, it will display a drop down 10 If the cadet clicks on this area, it will display a drop down menu that will have a complete listing of AFIT recognized academic codes along with the 4 digit code associated with the degree. Cadets can scroll through the list, find their degree and make note of the 4 digit code to be entered in the first block. This should make it easier for the TEC to verify the information.
