Second ChoiceThe Toltec civilization is an ancient civilization that began to expand in central Mexico around 900 CE; around 450 CE before the Aztec civilization began to flourish. The Toltecs they were the forefathers of the Aztecs and built such an impressive capital and successful civilizationthat the heritage the Toltecs had created would be used by the Aztec’s and other later civilizationsin the future. As the Toltecs first migrated to Mesoamerica, their first leader Ce Tecpatl Mixcoatl and his son Ce Acatl Topiltzin (Cartwright, 2020) would be famously regarded as greater rulers and lead to the beginning of their civilization near the town of Tula, Mexico. The fathers reign would become so famous he would later be referred to by the name Quetzalcoatl (Feathered Serpent); a god. The Toltecs culture is said to have branched off of a Pre-Columbian civilization
