Finkel Sect: Section 02 Date: November 15 th , 2011 Re: Assigned Chapter Homework, Chapter # 14 Self-Assessment: -On this Self-Assessment I scored a 76, which describes me as more of a relationship oriented leader. -There are two types of leaders described in this assessment, relationship-oriented and task-oriented. I believe having a little of both is important to helping the company perform better -It is important to be a relationship-oriented leader because you need to know how your employees tick and how they work. Putting unmotivated employees on important projects can lead to unfulfilled accomplishments. However not being as task oriented as you need to be can lead to your company’s demise and not being able to get your employees on track. Management Decision: -I believe that my employees should have somewhat of a say in making the decision.
