Nancy Crawley Marketing Case Study 4 Starbucks Corporation Starbucks today is the number one specialty coffee retailer . They serve more than twenty-five million customers in its stores every week . The founder was Howard Schultz, who wanted to take the experience of an Italian espresso bar to all corners of all the city blocks in the world . It has been a huge hit with many people and will continue to be. Starbucks is very big on social responsibility and all that goes with it . They are one of the few companies to actually embrace the corporate social responsibility . They not only recognize the central role that social responsibility plays in its business, but it also takes constructive action to be socially responsible . The way Starbucks feels about social responsibility relates to the three concepts of how it is described in the text . In the end, Starbucks wants to be responsible for their stakeholders which is what stakeholder responsibility is .
