Running head: Weekly reflective journal on increased unplanned admission at hospitals 1Adanna IkwuegbuWeekly reflective journal on increased unplanned admission at hospitalWeek 1: New practice approachesIn this course, I was privileged to attend sessions with a great teacher and team of stu-dents who were instrumental throughout the training session. From the course, I got to appreciatethe new practice approaches in the nursing field which are significant in revolutionizing the en-tire health care sector. I learned that the use of modern drugs and medicine is vital in overcomingresistant diseases and improve human health. I also appreciate the power of healthcare informat-ics as a modern practice approach that has increased efficiency in diagnosis and keeping patientrecords and data. The modern healthcare practice empower basic health care processes and activ-ities in health facility (Maben et al., 2015). As such, I believe the new practice approach willcontinuing increasing the positive change in the health sector and improve human health.Week 2: Inter-professional collaborationIn addition, I found Intra-professional collaboration very important because it increaseidea sharing and motivation. Just like how multiagency work in a formal setting, I found Intra-professional collaboration essential because enable health practitioners to deliver shared care topatient. The delivered care to the patients also offer an ample opportunity for the trainee to inter-act with the professionals and acquire top-notch healthcare experience (Bixler & Bixler, 2015).
