Nancy Crawley GPS 220 April 5, 2011 United States Economic/Politcal Issues As president of the United States, I am constantly running into problems that face our country . Problems with in the United States include political, economic, health, environmental, educational, social, etc . Today, two very big problems that we face as a country are political and economic problems . There are many areas in each, but there is one that stands out most in each category . One of the biggest economic challenges faced today are prices of gas and how it affects everything else to become inflated . One of the biggest political problems in the United States is immigration . High oil and gasoline prices have harmed the economic system in the United States and is continuously rising everyday . Through gas prices going up, businesses, schools, small companies, families, etc . are greatly being affected and having to change their ways. People now are having to be more cautious of where they go and the money and gasoline it takes to get there . Since gas prices are going up, it is causing all other types of products to suffer from inflation . Inflation is affecting banking, trade, business, industry, education, etc.
