Kamal Patel Professional Communications: Bryant Speech 1 Reflection My speech, like most speeches, came with the good and the bad. I think this first speech had more of the bad than good. The good came mostly in the context. I believe the context given during my speech was well organized and supported my topic well. I gave deep informational background that provided well understanding. I did give the information needed and showed how to properly heal a sprain. My stance was inviting to the audience. My shoulders were squared and I was open to the whole audience. I changed my points of eye contact throughout the audience. I think I was able to hide and contain my nervousness well. I was able to present myself as relaxed and comfortable. I stayed focused on the material instead of off-tracking to tangent information. There were many things that I could have done better. First of all, the time was lower than it should have been. The speech was four and a half minutes. The minimum five minutes
