Business Ethics Reflection 1 Business Ethics Reflection Society is based on the way each individual lives their lives through their morals and ethics. What some believe to be right others will believe to be wrong, and vice versa. Many of the morals and ethics that individuals use throughout their lives are a result of their upbringing. As members of society these morals and ethics provide us with values to live our lives through. Business Ethics Reflection 2 built upon their moral and ethical values there are still those citizens who fail to make the most moral or ethical decision. Within a nursing home setting my grandmother was exceptionally happy with the healthcare staff and found no ethical problems with the healthcare staff and the way they treated the elderly that were in their care. My grandmother had become familiar with the staff and knew most of them by name. Under new management the trusted healthcare staff was leaving and new individuals were coming on. Throughout my grandmothers stay in the nursing home there we multiple examples of when unethical acts by the healthcare staff took place. An elderly patient unable to transport herself to and from the restroom and her bed was aided in making her way to their restroom where she was left alone and forgotten about. The next morning when my grandmother, her roommate, went to use the restroom the elderly woman was still sitting on the stool, unable to make her way back to her bed or contact help being that she could not reach the help cord. Other residents described to my grandmother an elderly woman who was found on the
