Check to make sure there’s a page with pink comments all over it. If not, leave your notebook there and email your mentor asking when it will be ready for pickup. Or, email your mentor before going to make sure it’s there Your grade will be , + or – , which all get 10 pts. X is a strike (email me to set up a meeting on how to redo it). Inquiry One Feedback Ring binder 1.5”, not a book, not containing other classes. Put your name on your binder, and on your report. Use a 3-hole punch to include report in your binder next time. Do not bind in a fancy cover. Staple it. Don’t use a title page. Don’t use ±rst person; spell check; complete sentences. Be clear. Be concise. Use visuals to represent your data. Do not state facts without referencing them. Use good reference formatting. We grade the electronic version and the hard copy. Make sure they are the same. Insert excel graphs into word ±le, but also attach the spreadsheet. Inquiry Two Inquiry II is due in one week’s time on Tuesday. Some of y’all have been slow to get going. We don’t want to tell people with good scienti±c inquiry ideas that they don’t have enough time and should just go home and optimize raman noodles. I am giving a one week extension on Inquiry II. Now due October 5th (electronic copy by start of class, hard copy outside my of±ce by 3 pm). But. .. I encourage you to ±nish it in one week if at all possible because Inquiry III will still be assigned next Tuesday, even though Inquiry II will still be in progress. Inquiry Two - Lab work Final lab frenzy for inquiry two in progress Clean up after yourself! Read the manual on how to use your equipment, to be prepared. Science is frustrating, and usually takes lots of work to work. Your grade is independent of whether your experiment is successful or not. We do look at the effort you put into it though. 4 5 6
