Psych of Art Asymmetries= distinguishabilities In the rotated parallelogram, there are 3 distinguishabilities: 1.) Between the orientation of the shape and the environment 2.) Between the adjacent angles’ different sizes 3.) Between the adjacent sides’ different lengths They use the asymmetry principle 3 x. They remove 3 distinguishabilites  successively backwards in time. Then they use the symmetry principle Symmetries= indistinguishabilites There are 2 in the rotated parallelogram: 1.) Opposite sides are = 2.) Opposite angles are = Symmetries are preserved backwards in time. Section 1.5  ~ The Meaning of an Artwork is the process history recovered from it. Section 1.6  ~ Tension Artworks are defined by structure of tension but there was never a theory.  Tension= memory storage = recovery of the past.
