Racial and ethnic minority groups have a much younger median age, and by 2050 will account for nearly 90% of total population growth. The Census Bureau projects that by 2050 there will be 18 million more minorities than non-minorities under age 35. These changes will definitely affect the face of the United States. To prepare for this cultural shift, learning tolerance and appreciating differences will be this country’s greatest challenge. From seniors to children, Americans will have to become flexible when dealing with different ways of working, speaking, and acting. This shift will occur gradually, but if Americans can accomplish this then 2050 will hold a bright future for all citizens....
